Although I'm Interested In Reading This Book, I'm Not Sure If I Agree With The Authors' Interpretations Of Lao-Tzu's Original Work..... While I Find His Words Inspirational, I Find Theirs Slightly Depressing..... I'm A Strong Believer In The "Law Of Attraction" (B.K.A. "The Secret") & Have Been Using It To Help My Mother (Who Is Mentally & Physically Ill, To The Point That I'll Be Her Guardian Next Month).
She's Suffered From Mental Illnesses Her Whole Life, Though She Wasn't Diagnosed Until Her Early Twenties..... From There She Went Down Hill & Her Health Quickly Followed Suit! She's Now Nearing Sixty & Considering The Fact That Doctors Haven't "Fixed" Her Yet, I Decided: I Will!!!!!
Since I've Started Teaching Her "The Secret" She's Begun To Slowly Make Progress & I Believe She's Finally On Her Way To Being Truly Healthy (Both Mentally & Physically)!!!!! Up Until Now, Her Biggest Problem Has Been That She's Spent So Many Years Listening To & Believing All The Negative Comments/Diagnosis Of Doctors/Family & Friends, That It's Been Virtually Impossible For Her To Believe In Herself.....
I Know For A Fact That If I Just "Accepted" Her The Way She Has Been, She Would Have Just Continued To Deteriorate..... But Now For The First Time In Nearly Four Decades, My Mother Is Happily Looking Forward To The Rest Of Her Life (Instead Of Dreading It)!!!!!
